The Pack
Oakley
Face of the Company & Helper Dog
An 11 year old Siberian Husky with a spicy attitude, Oakley is the face of the company and the reason Otto started training dogs. At a young age Oakley displayed behaviors that were concerning, which led Otto to sign up for a group class where an instant bond and spark for training was created.
Oakley is now semi-retired but makes the occasional appearance as a helper dog. He is very well trained, on and off leash reliable and breaks all stereotypes about the breed.
Dog trainers hone their skills at the expense of their personal dogs and Oakley has been one of Otto’s biggest teachers. Thanks to Oakley, Otto is now able to successfully rehab client dogs.
Lobo
Helper Dog
Lobo is a 7 year old German Shepherd / Husky Mix. Lobo came into Otto’s life at 3 months old when his first family gave him up because he was “biting” their toddler which was the unfortunate by-product of a typical puppy given too much freedom. Otto immediately started training with Lobo the day he picked him up and Lobo is now Supreme K9’s main helper dog.
Lobo is very easy-going and can be barked and snapped at with no reaction. This even temperament makes him the perfect helper dog. However, he is also very reliable when teaching other dogs to respect boundaries.
Luna
Helper Dog
Luna is a 5 year old German Shepherd / Husky mix and the offspring of an accidental breeding of Lobo and Leiah. Being the only surviving puppy in the litter, Otto felt that he needed to be responsible for her.
Luna started her journey as a helper dog at 2 years old and has grown into the job. Her playful nature helps dogs that need social skills. Likely in part due to her being born into a pack, she is very socially tolerant and a great helper dog when working with fear aggression cases as well as pushy puppies.
Leiah
Retired Helper Dog / ESA
Leiah is a 13 year old Siberian Husky rescued from South Jersey when her previous owner couldn’t keep her anymore due to unexpected issues. Leiah was being bounced around from foster home to foster home and was a very shut down dog. Otto hesitated to take her in and work with her because he was in his early stages as a trainer at the time but with patience and guidance she has blossomed.
Leiah has proven to be a tremendous learning experience for Otto. As an amazing mother to Luna, Leiah taught Otto so much about dogs’ instinctual behaviors.
Leiah is now retired as a helper dog but continues her work as an ESA (Emotional Support Animal).
