Board & Train

Now accepting applications for November 2024 + 2025

Our Board and Train Program is an immersive training program where your dog lives with the trainer, essentially becoming a family member during while completing their learning.

At its core, the program aims to equip your dog to succeed in life. We live in a human world that is not intuitive for our dogs. The goal of the program is to teach your canine companion how to navigate a broad variety of situations so that they can partake in your everyday life as seamlessly and as much as possible.

In the daytime, dogs go to work with their assigned Trainer, and benefit from exposure to a variety of other dogs and training team members. When the day is over, they go home with their assigned Trainer and benefit from a home-setting.

This blend of helps dogs learn a full range of skills to allow them to truly thrive in a human world — overall obedience including off-leash skills, environmental exposure, proper socialization, house manners, car manners — the list goes on.

The program is desirable for owners seeking robust training within a relatively short period of time, and is especially well-suited for more challenging behaviors such as reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, etc.

Due to the boutique nature of our program, availability is always very limited. Please inquire for more details.

If you are looking to coincide training with travel plans, we recommend planning well in advance to secure your optimal training dates.

  • If you had an incident and there is imminent need for training to protect the safety and well-being of humans or dog, we have other interim training options that will be discussed with you as appropriate.

  • Not per se.

We recommend taking the steps to secure dates. If you are interested in sooner openings, let us know and we will contact you should something open up. If those new dates work for you, great! If not, your original dates remain yours.

Kind Words

“No question or hesitation… best decision we’ve made for our dog and family.

We met Otto after our rescue shepherd-mix started acting aggressively toward strangers. We’d already worked with a trainer whose techniques weren’t working and we were close to making the awful decision to re-home her. When we met Otto for a consultation, he observed our dog was fearful/anxious aggressive and recommended his 6-week Board and Train program for confidence boosting, relationship building, stranger greeting & trust, and general obedience.

Throughout her boarding program, Otto kept us very informed about our dog’s progress… and showed us the fun they were having together. We were confident she was getting top notch training, but also under the care of someone who was dedicated to her well-being and long-term success.

Our dog has made significant behavioral strides through Otto’s program and he continues to be a reliable, responsive resource for us as we reinforce her training. We are also more informed, confident, and attentive owners thanks to Otto.

Hiring Otto was the best decision we’ve made for our pup & family and we are so grateful we found him.”

“After a biting incident with our then almost 1 year old (two months with us) rescue dog, we were lost and felt backed into a corner. We were facing some serious decisions… Thinking that our dog's history was insurmountable, we were obviously heartbroken but were desperate to come up with a responsible way to keep her… We don't feel anyone could have done a more complete job addressing Sammie's issues, and showing her a better way to dog. We are absolutely over the moon... I would never have believed it was possible had I not lived with the results. We would without hesitation recommend to anyone needing help with their dog to get in touch with Supreme K9. They gave us the tools to enable her to become a confidant happy pet. It was without a doubt the best decision we made regarding Sammie. This is what I could only imagine dog ownership could be before we met them. Thank you… we love you!”

“A GIANT THANK YOU for ALL you did with Max. He truly is a DIFFERENT dog!! We are SO PLEASED with the changes in Max’s behavior… He is calmer, more in control and better mannered… I took [a photo] yesterday as he watched and listened to the 4 men who were working inside and outside our home. Previously he would have been running and barking at the top of his lungs from window to window and then from door to door as they walked in and out.

Please feel free to give our [contact] as references. We would be HAPPY to speak positively and enthusiastically about:

  • the positive changes in Max,

  • Otto’s incredible way with Max and us,

  • as well as the whole process

Otto, you and the team worked MAGIC! THANK YOU!!”
